After the withdrawal of the race favorite, Lust For Life, the door opened for a relatively straightforward task for Peggy Boko — although many of the stable’s other horses had also been scratched from their planned starts leading up to today’s race and last week as well.
But Peggy Boko showed no signs of weakness and controlled the race in dominant fashion from start to finish, winning in 1:13.5 over the full distance. The victory was worth €25,000.
